Triumph Daytona 675 Price, Mileage, Review

British motorcycle company Triumph has been gaining a lot of attention recently in the Indian market. Today, I will be writing about the Triumph Daytona 675R Superbike and this road monster is something every guy dreams about. Daytona 675R is retailing at a price of Rs 12,14560/- (Ex- Showroom Delhi) and will vary with different cities as the local taxes are different. This firmly puts it in the premium range of bikes being driven on the Indian roads. Triumph Motorcycles is the largest motorcycle manufacturer of Britain selling premium motorcycles. It is looking to aggressively grow in emerging markets like India and China, as a result of which it is expanding local assembly and manufacturing.

Triumph Daytona 675R Looks:

Talking about looks, the bike has a stunning chiseled look as is expected for a bike in its class. It comes in two colors : Crystal White and Phantom Black. I personally liked the black color a lot more. Since the pricing of the bike is on the higher side when compared with models with similar specifications, the company has gone out of its way in other areas.

Triumph Daytona 675R Specifications:

The beast comes with a 675cc engine paired with a 6 -speed gearbox. The bike’s been built to be ridden on racing tracks and a quick test drive of it clears that assumption. Built with all the latest technology, it delivers excellent performance and handling. Using an all new innovative design, the bike zooms from 0-100 mph in roughly 2.8 seconds. Probably the bike was designed to be naked at conception stage and other fairings were added later on. As a result of using intensive aerodynamic ‘tunnel testing’, the performance of the bike on turns is excellent. This fact can be easily gleaned by the weight of the bike. It is not only a pound lighter than the previous model, furthermore it also contains ABS making this impressive.

Final Thoughts:

In conclusion, this is one of the best superbikes available for sale in India right now. In addition to being one super fast bike, the handling of the bike is just exceptional. Since it comes with a slightly higher price tag, consequently the features are refined and wonderful looking. I am personally in awe of it and really love the black model. The power, handling and balance make it a sheer pleasure to ride it in India. Probably the higher price tag could have been avoided, most noteworthy aspect of this beast is its top power speed which lets it zoom from 0-100 mph in under 3 seconds. Finally, its one of the best bikes in its class.
